1st Rant of Spring: Jewelry

The first day of Spring has past and the transition from gray to green is turning pleasantly.

And with the new season comes fresh starts and sudden love. Mine beginning with a newly found love for the items at catbird: a boutique located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY with two locations that are a short walk away from each other. The two stores carry completely different merchandise, so you'll want to check out both. I stumbled across the site via this is glamorous, which posted a pair of alphabet letter earrings as a give-away along with a link to the shop's site.

My mistake was to browse the site, because I soon found myself smitten with their jewelry.

{1} Pistol Ring. This piece is absolutely WICKED.



{2} Spoon Necklaces! (Signature Table Spoons & Fairy Absinthe Spoons, respectively.)



{3} Cage Necklace.



{4} Sparrow on Swing. My brother's girlfriend loves sparrows, and I am very tempted to buy this as her present.



{5} Love Lost Compass.



{6} Keyhole Necklace. This is, by far, my favorite item on the site. It's briliant.

I keep having the urge to buy everything I see on their site but, alas, I'm quite penniless at the moment. In fact, I still owe a quite a sum to my credit card companies thanks to some new tools and equipment I bought.

Speaking of which: Because I finally have the equipment, I can to start working on projects I had planned on doing. I hope to post some photos up when I get the chance to begin working. As to what that first project is... Well, I'll leave that for next post.
