Ring a Bell

Kane wo Narashite by Bonnie Pink

Separated from you, I start to search
and I’ve walked past thousands of nights.
What do I have my aim at, who do I believe in?
My vow is once again wavering.

I bare my fangs to the darkness
but I’m not strong; yes, there’s no strength.
For a long time, I face towards your figure
realizing the starry sky is lonesome.

Light is dark and dark is light.
Until the end, they’ll follow each other on.
When I’m living happily,
I’ll ring the bell so that you'll know.

The forgiven and the forgiver
both share the same wounds.
The surface and the underside of sadness will someday
be healed in paradise.

Into the morning haze I ring a bell,
but it doesn’t go far, yes it doesn’t go so far.
You are just being you, but that can also be called isolation.

Light is dark and dark is light.
Until the end, they’ll follow each other on.
The clouds cast a shadow, and as the sky cries,
I’ll ring the bell, and set out to find you.

The world is black and white, peaceful and hostile,
heads or tails, you and I, light and dark, ups and downs…
Within the center of it all, we’ll one day meet and join hands, won't we?

Light is dark and dark is light.
Until the end, they’ll follow each other on.
When I’m living happily,
I’ll ring the bell so that you'll know.
